On 1st December 2022, we launched a new cross-border story, titled Flowing Underground, that was produced for the Nile Basin Initiative. We also awarded the 2022 Science Communication Competition for University Students. The two were done under NileWell, our platform that enables journalists, environmentalists and scientists to connect, collaborate and share resources across the Nile Basin. This event also showcased #EverydayNile photos by 10 photojournalists from nine countries documenting everyday water stories around the Nile River and its tributaries capturing the everyday life in the Nile Basin countries.
