Kambale Muyisa Musongora, an assistant lecturer at the Université Catholique du Graben and a PhD student in Soil Health and AgroEcosystem Management at the University of Nairobi will be sharing his research on Assessment of Land Use and Land Cover Changes (LULC) in the North Talihya River Watershed (Lubero Territory, Eastern DR Congo).
In this session, we will explore mechanisms to restore degraded forest ecosystems in this watershed, their applicability to other degraded watersheds in the Nile Basin, and the sustainable management of residual forest ecosystems.
