Dr Yasmine Kamal and Hadeer Elhadry from Egypt collaborated to co-produce different communication outputs from a community project restoring mangrove forests in Egypt to combat climate change.

In this session, this pair will enlighten us on the importance of mangrove ecosystems to other marine species, how they protect coastal areas from bank erosion by sea tides and sea storms as well as how a nature-based community project in Egypt is helping fight climate change.
